My girls have a lot of hair for their age and while ponytails and messy buns worked for awhile, I was actually spending more time detangling their hair whenever I didn’t actually style it.

So I made the conscious decision to do their hair everyday. I won’t lie somedays I still just throw it up in a ponytail or leave it down and each time I do I regret it once its time for hair wash day…tangles on tangles but that’s life with these two, we don’t do everything everyday but we certainly try!

Getting to sit with them each day as we quietly brush their hair and do it up has been such a joy and our own little bonding time. They both are prepared to get their hair done, whether its braids or strategically placed ponytails, I try to keep it simple, easy, and cute; they always look forward to our hair styling time and so do I.
