Veer Cruiser Wagon Review - Is it worth it?

Sharing my review of the Veer Cruiser Wagon. What is the Veer Wagon? How it’s held up for the year we’ve had it. Is it worth it?

This is NOT a sponsored post, just sharing my honest opinion of the wagon we received as a gift from family when we welcomed our newest little babe.

The girls on our trip to the zoo over the summer.

Let me preface this by saying the girls grandpa wanted to get them a gift that they could both use after welcoming our youngest in 2019 and when he mentioned wagon, I thought a Radio Flyer or even one of those Costco wagons. When their gift arrived we were blown away and had never even heard of the Veer Cruiser Wagon before! Needless to say we are HUGE fans and wanted to share our experience with using from the Newborn Stage to now for the past year.

The Highs

VERSATILE : We got this wagon about a month after my second daughter was born and with the car seat adapter we were able to use it for her from the Newborn stage while her big sister got to ride along too. Love that it can be pushed like a stroller or pulled like a wagon.

DURABLE : We have taken this wagon on every terrain except for snow in the year we’ve had it and it has performed exactly as it should. The quality and craftmanship is first class. We called it the “batmobile” of wagons their Grandpa called it the Cadillac of wagons.

COMFORT: Now that both girls are old enough to ride in it, its fun for them to face each other and keep each other company and it is totally their favorite they have also fallen asleep riding in it! There is also a drop down floor in the wagon so the older kids have some more leg room.

AESTHETIC: I mean this is a NICEEE looking wagon, we get compliments and questions all the time on it! Bonus: you can customize the sidewalls and canopy.

MESS FRIENDLY: Everything is super easy to clean, wipe or hose down depending on your adventure, the whole thing practically comes apart so you’re able to get every nook and cranny.

The Lows

PRICEY: You pay for quality and this wagon checks off all the boxes. The base wagon itself comes with the cupholders and the snack tray, all the other add ons are that; add ons and are all purchased separately.

BREAKDOWN: This wasn’t really a con for me but did want to mention that you do have to take all the attachments off (except for the storage basket) when you do the breakdown to put it in your car and then re-attach it all when you take it out to use. It’s really fast once you’ve done it so many times but could be a hassle for some.

BULKY: This beast comes in at 32.5lbs. Pushing this bad boy up a hill with two toddlers weighing 20+ lbs added on, lets say is quite the workout. Its a trade off for how long we will be able to use the wagon. Also this is great for outdoors, Target and Mall trips but it can definitely be hard to navigate through smaller aisles with its wide turn radius.

Is it worth it?

For us with two toddlers 18 months apart. ABSOLUTELY. We were lucky enough to receive this wagon as a gift from the girl’s Grandpa and it is a baby item I never knew I NEEDED. It’s also my most used baby gear item that both girls get to use at the same time.

After using it for an entire year it has saved me SO many times. We took it camping and the wagon was their safe zone, also the bug shield protected them from any mosquitos and the nap system was great for my then 8 month old to nap while we hung out around the campfire or on walks while my 2 year old got to run and play.

This wagon lives in my trunk; I drive a Toyota Rav4 and still have room for groceries and bags and other items so even though it is bulky you can get away with lugging it around.

I would say if you have multiples this is worth every penny and you won’t need to buy different strollers or wagons as your littles grow.

This wagon was designed with parent features in mind, from the easy foot brake release, to the multiple cup holders and attachments, this is one baby gear item that will grow with your kids and you’ll enjoy wheeling them around in.
