Magical Moments at Disneyland: A Day in the Happiest Place on Earth

Yay! We finally got to take our first vacation as a family of 4 since our youngest was born just before the pandemic! It was amazing getting to experience Disney with the girls and take in so many firsts! Like Arden’s first time on a plane, on a bus and rides! This was sort of a last minute planned trip so we didn’t get to do all the things we wanted but we still made the most out of our time there!

From yummy foods, riding the rides, and getting to see the girls interact with so many characters was amazing and I truly can’t wait to go back again and again.

Taking a trip to Disneyland with your family can be a magical and memorable experience. As you plan your first family trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, here are a few tips to help you make the most of it:

  1. Plan ahead: Disneyland can be crowded, especially during peak season, so it's a good idea to plan ahead and book your tickets, hotel, and any other reservations well in advance. This can help to ensure that you get the best deals and avoid disappointment.

  2. Choose the right time to visit: Consider the time of year you want to visit Disneyland. During the off-season, the park is generally less crowded, but some attractions may be closed for maintenance. During the peak season, the park is more crowded, but all the attractions are typically open.

  3. Pack wisely: Make sure to pack all the essentials, such as sunscreen, hats, comfortable shoes, and plenty of water. You may also want to bring snacks, as food and drinks can be expensive inside the park.

  4. Get a park map: Familiarize yourself with the layout of the park and plan your itinerary in advance. You can use the Disneyland app to see wait times for rides, find food and restrooms, and more.

  5. Take breaks: Disneyland can be tiring, especially for younger children. Make sure to take breaks throughout the day to rest and recharge. You could also consider visiting the park over the course of two days to avoid feeling rushed and overwhelmed.

By following these tips, you can make your first family trip to Disneyland a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone. Don't forget to bring your camera, as you'll want to capture all the magical moments to look back on for years to come!
